So this week’s Entertainment Weekly features various interviews as it talks about superhero movies and the plethora of movies which are being released over the next two years.
The cover of the magazine features new Superman Henry Cavill wearing the \S/ shield for the very first time. OK, it’s a crumpled tee but you get the idea right?

Henry Cavill will play Clark Kent/Superman in Superman: Man of Steel
Cavill talks about how he was asked to wear a replica of Christopher Reeve’s original Superman suit. After coming off a film where he had to slim down, the future man of steel didn’t think his body was up to the task. He admitted to thinking “You’re not ready! You’re not ready!”
Director Zack Snyder initially said to Cavill “If you can put on that suit and pull it off. That’s an awesome achievement” and expected the nervous actor would walk out to laughter. “Other actors put that suit on, and it’s a joke, even if they’re great actors. Henry put it on, and he exuded this kind of crazy-calm confidence that just made me go ‘Wow.’ Okay: This was Superman.’”
As you can imagine, I’m intrigued as to how Henry Cavill will shape up as Clark Kent and I’ll be watching news of this movie with a very beady eye.
